After a child died at the hospital from suspected poisoning, a nurse was arrested.

After the infant died while in her hospital's care, a nurse was arrested on suspicion of poisoning a sick kid "with intent to harm life."

The 27-year-old doctor, who works at Birmingham Children's Hospital in the United Kingdom, was detained hours after the child died in the intensive care unit.

She has been released from custody and placed on administrative leave while detectives and forensic experts look into the cause of death. She has not been charged with anything.
