One talented Pokemon enthusiast makes a fan art showing Rowlet, an avian pocket monster, in different poses based on real-life owls.

A Pokemon fan has shared an interesting piece of artwork showing Rowlet in different expressions based on photographs of real owls. The Pokemon franchise is among the most famous of all time after the massive success of many TV series, movies, and video games. Numerous video game titles have been released; the most recent was Pokemon Legends: Arceus which takes players to the distant past. Unsurprisingly, Pokemon Legends: Arceus is among the best-selling games of 2022, as per the data released by the NPD group.

While the gaming world prepares for the launch of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which is only a few months away, some fans are trying their hands on previous titles like Pokemon Sun and Moon, which introduced new Pokemon like Litten, Rowlet, and Popplio. All three instantly became popular, but Rowlet remains one of the most loved pocket monsters and appeared in the latest game, Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Naturally, many Pokemon fans dedicate unique artworks like paintings, drawings, and sculptures to Rowlet. Similarly, another Pokemon aficionado has made impressive Rowlet fan art.

Reddit user kerbula uploaded an image on the social media platform that shows their new Pokemon fan art. The user has picked seven photographs of real-life owls in unusual, hilarious positions and has drawn Rowlet in a similar pose. The first photograph shows a human holding an owl in a particular way to reveal its tall legs, and the drawing next to it shows Rowlet in the same way. The following two images are of an owl with big eyes and a winking owl, while Rowlet is seen with similar expressions. The fourth photo shows an owl in a leaping pose alongside Rowlet, who is also doing the same thing.

The fifth image is arguably the most interesting as it shows an angry owl which the user has replicated brilliantly to show Rowlet with a stern expression. The final two pictures follow the same pattern, with the last Rowlet art mimicking the sleepy owl in the corresponding photo. Pokemon fans on Reddit admired the post, as seen by more than 3,000 upvotes, with most praises coming for the angry Rowlet. Some people also liked the sleepy Rowlet and winking Rowlet.

For those who don’t know, Rowlet is a seventh-generation grass/Flying type Pokemon based on owls and considered one of the most adorable pocket monsters by fans. Despite having a tiny and plump body, Rowlet is highly effective in combat as it has excellent night vision, dangerous close combat, and ranged attacks.
