Quaxly and DuckTales meet in this fanart of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

It’s been a while since the debut of Quaxly, but Pokemon fan artists are still combining the new Water starter with other media, such as comic books and anime.

Since Pokemon Legends: Arceus was released just over a month ago and the series has been a hot topic in the gaming community recently, the announcement of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has caused a stir. The announcement of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has delighted fans, who have grown fond of the starter Pokémon.

During a Pokemon Presents showcase video on Sunday, new land was shown that players can explore, including Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. As far as architecture and landscape designs go, the world seems to draw inspiration from Spain and Portugal’s Iberian countries.

Quaxly, the Water starter, has the potential to become a meme. It’s not the Pokemon that’s the problem; rather, it’s its hair. When it comes to hairstyle, it has already been compared to that of Josuke from the anime Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. A Reddit user named KailunLao has created a Quaxly-themed DuckTales-style drawing, complete with Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Each Quaxly has a distinct personality based on their expressions and mannerisms depicted in the art.

The evolutions and types of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s starters are a matter of speculation, as they are for most of the franchise’s starters. Meanwhile, fans are busy creating artwork and memes to express their feelings about the new Pokemon that have appeared on the market. While Quaxly has been an easy target because of its hair, many cat lovers have taken to making art of Sprigatito – the Grass starter that looks a lot more like a cat than the other starters out there.

As a result of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, the impact of an open-world game on the Pokemon community has been diminished a bit. However, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are finally going to be open-world. There isn’t much openness in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, but that doesn’t matter much because the series’ abrupt transition to the next generation has been dulled by this game.

Because they’re part of the next generation and some people aren’t sure they want it yet, some cynics believe these games, which release the same year as Pokemon Legends: Arceus, will have the same issues as Pokemon Sword and Shield. Even though Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have yet to be released, there is still plenty of time for speculation and discussion about Pokemon’s ninth generation to occur.
